  Chicago Book Artist Craig Jobson

Craig Jobson is a book artist, publisher, and faculty member at Chicago's Columbia College. He also happens to hold two degrees from from UT-- a B.A. in English and American Literature and a Studio Art B.F.A. I interviewed Craig last year for a documentary project I'm producing about the popularity of dominoes in rural communities throughout Texas and the greater South. In this clip, Craig discusses a series of books he wrote, illustrated, and literally constructed from scratch that deal, at least indirectly, with the game of dominoes. The clip was included in a video sample for a grant proposal. It does not begin to do justice to Craig's work, which could be the subject of its own documentary.
